Homeless Shelter Our Homeless Shelter will open again on Monday, November 17th. We are hosting up to 10 men on Monday through Friday evenings. We have three shifts to cover each night. The evening shift 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. requires two people to help greet our guests, serve them dinner prepared by other volunteers and get them settled for the evening. Our overnight shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. is usually handled by men from the parish. This is a critical shift to cover. Finally we are always in need of families to prepare a dinner for the men each evening. If you would like to register to help in our Homeless Shelter please contact Sr. Aileen Halleran at 718-359-5276. Read the Full Story

Annual Lessons & Carols Our 19th Annual Lessons and Carols will be held on Sunday, December 14th at 3:30 PM in our church.  This beautiful service is a mixture of Scripture Readings and Christmas Carols sung by both our Adult and Junior Choirs. It has been a tradition to dedicate this service to a parishioner who has offered his/her time and talent to our parish and who has made a difference in the lives of his/her fellow parishioners. This year the music ministry is extremely proud to dedicate the  Annual Lessons and Carols to the late Gloria Sullivan.  Gloria was one of the founders of our community theater group, “The Andrean Players,” one of the first “Leaders of Song” in our parish, one of the first female SAA choristers, and extremely active in our parish’s special events. Please plan to attend this uplifting and memorable event and to support the music ministries of our Parish. Immediately following the Lessons and Carols, we will have our Tree Lighting ceremony outside the church. Read the Full Story
